Beer Steins Art Print - 10" x12.5"

A beer art print of an oil painting called Helles und Dunkels by Alaskan artist Scott Clendaniel. The image is from a micro-brewery in Germany. This painting has an interesting story to go along with it.

From the artist…

"My wife and I were riding our bikes through Germany last year and were frequenting local taverns. This one was a brew-pub that offered two types of beer, helles (light) and dunkels (dark). We both ordered the dunkels but were confused because we thought it was light in color and expected a dunkels to be nearly black. So we ordered another round and did our best to enunciate with our American accent DOONKELS BEER BITTE! However the same beer came again. So bravely we asked if it was the dunkels and the bartender brought us a short pull of the helles and explained, "Das ist helles!" which was dramatically lighter. We thought it was hilarious, so I captured it forever as an oil painting."

The image size is 10 in. wide x 12.5 in. high. Additionally, the image has a one-inch white border around it to make it fit easily in most any stock frame. High quality glossy photo paper with archival ink. Limited edition of 500 prints. The print is signed by the artist and numbered. Certificate of Authenticity included. Shipped flat, packaged in a mylar bag. Not matted or framed.
